A robotics startup was developing a new collaborative robot and needed a critical joint component with a complex internal geometry and extremely tight tolerances for smooth, precise movement. The part was designed to be machined from a single block of 7075-T6 aluminum for maximum strength and minimal weight. Leveraging our 5-axis simultaneous CNC machining capabilities, we were able to produce the complex part in a single setup, ensuring all critical features were perfectly aligned. The finished component met all dimensional and surface finish requirements, enabling the client to achieve the desired performance for their robotic arm.
